The video begins with a brief explanation of the sources and causes of groundwater contamination, including point, line and dispersed sources of contamination. Subsequently, a conceptual groundwater contamination model is presented, alongside a section on how contaminants are transported in aquifers. The mechanisms responsible for mechanical dispersion of contaminants are also presented. Finally, the author emphasises the importance of safe and responsible disposal of chemicals and other contaminants.
