Taking place at the beginning of the year, Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week provides a good opportunity for the Green Group to review its past work and plan joint activities for the year ahead. The year 2023 will be marked by the UN Water Conference, the first in 46 years. Water being among the Group's top priorities, its members are strongly engaged in the conference preparations and call for accelerated and transformative water action at the global level.
The Group also started to plan joint activities for COP28 and two new projects, which will make its know-how available to the global community: the Knowledge Hub on Water Solutions and the Climate Adaptation Accelerator for start-ups. The members recommitted to providing leadership on the key issues of environmental processes and exchanged views on current processes.
