The Water-Energy Nexus at City Level: The Case Study of Skiathos

  • Wastewater Treatment and Reuse

This presentation examines the water-energy nexus analysis on the Greek Island of Skiathos. The study was conducted by utilising PCC and Minkowski distance, both of which were thoroughly explained. Results indicate a strong linear correlation between the utilisation of energy in various sectors such as agriculture, commercial, and industry, and total water consumption. Conversely, no correlation was detected between the utilisation of residential energy and total water consumption.
