This video introduces the Rotterdam Weatherwise initiative, a collaborative effort among various stakeholders, such as the city officials and residents, to enhance the city's resilience to climate change impacts. The author initially provides a brief overview of Rotterdam city and its water management practices. Next, he introduces the concept of the 'Adaptive City' and presents the Program Framework Rotterdam Weatherwise 2030 and its objectives. In the following section, the video demonstrates various climate-adaptive measures currently in place, including diverse water storage projects. Finally, the author explains some future plans, the most prominent of which is the cooperation with the private sector and homeowners to extend the activities from the public to the private space.
