During the panel session, the panelists reviewed their main arguments and provided more detailed perspectives. Initially, they discussed the correlation between coastal protection and flood prevention in Singapore, highlighting the unavoidable trade-offs. Subsequently, they revisited the IPCC reports, elaborating on the data utilised in the report's formation and emphasising the significance of communicating scientific findings to the public. Furthermore, Mr Teck elaborated on the functioning and collaboration of the PUB with other authorities in Singapore. Lastly, they offered some valuable insight into the process of selecting an appropriate adaptation approach for diverse cases.
